The gluten-eaters in our group loved the soba noodles, pickled vegetables and tempura. The edamame a local variety were fantastic and worth the trip! Service was amazing--staff was apologetic that there noodles weren't gluten-free! Soba comes in three sizes--a double order is good if you are hungry; kids probably just need a single order. Highly recommended prior to visiting Matsumoto Castle--just a short walk away. This spot is popular with locals! The restaurant is located near the Matsumoto castle.
